2.Candidates who have completed their degree from the universities which give Gradesinstead of marks will have to attach a certificate of equivalent Marks shown against thegrades from the competent authority of the University/Department. Candidates will haveto attach the decoding list where the Codes are given to the subjects.

3.The merit and minimum eligibility criteria will be decided by considering the totalpercentage of marks secured by the candidate at the degree level. (considering theadditional marks given by the university) (e.g. Some universities award degrees byconsidering the marks of three years, while some award degrees on the basis ofconsolidating Two years’ marks and some award degrees on the basis of the marksobtained only in the Third Year.) The calculation of marks at degree level will be done asper the pattern of awarding grade/class adopted by the concerned University. In case ofOpen University, the calculation of marks will be as per adopted pattern of concernedOpen University.

b.The candidates who have appeared for Degree Examination held in March/April 2015are eligible to appear for the CET. The Candidates whose results are declared beforethe schedule of filling of Option Form and who are qualified as per Rule 2.1 (a) and forEnglish Medium 5.1(b) and those who will fill in the Option Form will be included in the B.Ed. Admission Process.

The candidate is required to submit a certificate from the competent authority in any of thefollowing case 1, 2 and 3 in the following categories, stating the relation with the candidateso as to get the benefit of additional (Two percent) of Marks:

1.) Son/Daughter/Husband/Wife of the Freedom Fighter
2.) Candidate from a Project/Earthquake affected family
3.) Destitute woman/Divorced woman/Widow.

d.The results of Graduation of those candidates are declared while the process of admission is on, can fill up the Option Form who are qualified as per rule 2.1(a) and for English medium 5.1(b), after declaration of their results. The names of the such candidates will be included in the further admission Process. Such candidate can not claim his/her seat accordingto merit in the admission process conducted before his/her filling up the Option Form.

1. Admission Prosess
a.Admission in M.Ed. (Regular) First year course of Government, Government self supporting, Non-government Aided, The P. G. course Granted, Non-granted or Self supporting run by Departments of Education of Universities and Non-government Unaided or Permanently Unaided colleges, College run by Minority Institutes/Non grant/Permanently non-grant will be given through the Centralized Admission Process (Govt. CAP) by conducting the Common Entrance Test (CET). Concerned Admission and Examination Process will be conducted On-line with Computer Assistance.

b.M.Ed. course is of 2 years. CET will be conducted for 1st year M.Ed. only. After passing first year examination concern candidate will get admission automatically in 2nd year, in the same college by paying prescribed fees.

2. Eligibility for Central Common Entrance Test (CET)
i.Candidates who have completed their (1) B.Ed., (2) B. A. B.Ed., (3) B. Sc. B.Ed., (4) B.El. Ed. (Bachelor B.Ed. Elementary Education is eligible) from NCTE recognized Colleges of Education affiliated to Recognized Non Agricultural Universities, in case of (5) D. El. Ed. with Graduation, (having 50% marks in both Diploma and Degree), Open Category as well as candidates of all categories from out side Universities of Maharashtra, who have secured minimum 50% marks (marks obtained in between 49.50% to 49.99% will be considered as 50%) and those candidates belonging to Backward Class Category (including SC, ST, VJ/DT, NT-1, NT-2, NT-3, OBC, SBC), who have secured minimum 45% marks (mark obtained in between 44.50% to 44.99% will be considered as 45%) and in case of D.LE.Ed. with graduation (candidates having 45% marks in Diploma and Degree) will be eligible for CET Examination being conducted and for M. Ed. Admissions

ii.The candidates who have appeared for B.Ed Examination held in the months of March/April/May 2015 are eligible to appear for CET (M.Ed). The Candidates whose results aredeclared before the schedule of filling of Option Form and who are qualified as per Rule 2.1 (a) and 6.1 and those who will fill in Option Form, their names will be included in the Merit List. The results of B.Ed Exam.of those candidates are declared after Admission Process has started, and if they are eligible as per Rule 2.1 (a) & 6.1 can fill up the Option Form and their names will be included in the Progressive Admission Process Round. Such candidates can notclaim his seat according to merit in the earlier Round of Centralized Admission Process conducted before filling up the Option Form.

iii.Candidates who have completed their B.Ed from the universities which give Grades instead of marks will have to attach a certificate of equivalent Marks shown against the grades from the competent authority of the University/Department. Candidates will have to attach the decoding list where the Codes are given to the subjects

iv.The merit of the Candidate (and minimum eligibility criteria) will be decided by considering the total percentage of marks secured by the candidate for B.Ed degree. If the university has given marks for theory examination and grades for internal assessment, it is the responsibility of the candidate to get the grade converted into marks. Such candidates will have to compulsorily submit the certified Table of the university for grade conversion.
